Why a specific kids punching bag?
Adapted dimensions
An adult 4ft or 5ft bag is too heavy and too tall for a 6-year-old. The 2ft format mounts at the right height and resists a child’s force without being as hard as an adult bag.
Kids-sized gloves included
The supplied 6oz gloves are cut for small hands. Adult gloves (10–16 oz) are too heavy and too big.
Strike safety
A bag that is too hard can injure a child’s wrists and knuckles. RDX Kids models have calibrated resistance that absorbs impact without hardening it excessively.
How to mount a kids punching bag?
Mounting height — the bottom of the bag should be at the child’s waist height. For an 8-year-old (~1.30m): mount at approximately 1.30–1.50m from the floor.
Beam or wall hook — same logic as for adults, but much lower load. A standard hook in a wooden beam is sufficient.
Space — 1m clearance around the bag is enough. Secure the area.
From what age can you start?
From age 5–6 for play and discovery (a few minutes, supervision required). From age 8–9 the child can start learning basic punches under guidance. Most junior clubs accept children from age 8.

F6 KARA Kids: classic and effective, for children taking boxing seriously from age 6–7. Robo: makes hitting fun and attractive — ideal for younger children (ages 5–8) or less motivated ones who need a visual stimulus.
Can the bag stay hung permanently?
Yes. The mount is permanent. Just make sure the hook is in a solid beam and the area around it is clear.
Does a child need hand wraps under the gloves?
For short sessions (5–15 min), not essential. From 3x/week, the Kids 2.5m wraps are recommended to protect small wrists.
