Velcro or lace-up?
Velcro for 95% of uses — self-fitting, quick between rounds. Lace-up for professional competition: more precise and tighter wrist support.
Do you really need hand wraps underneath?
Yes. Hand wraps stabilise the wrist, protect the knuckles, absorb sweat and double the lifespan of your gloves.
Are RDX gloves approved for amateur competition in Switzerland?
Yes. AS1, AS2 and Mark Pro K1/K2 meet Swiss Boxing standards. T1 WAKO officially WAKO-approved. Check required weight with the organiser.
How long do RDX gloves last?
With hand wraps and drying: 18–36 months for training gloves, 12–24 months for sparring. Exclusive heavy bag use: use dedicated bag gloves.
