Which training gloves for which boxer?

  • First pair / recreational 1–2x a week → F7 Ego or F15 Noir in 10–12oz — versatile entry-level gloves, comfortable and durable.
  • Regular training 3x+/week → F6 Kara — Maya Hide Leather, multi-layer foam, the best seller in the range.

Women <65 kg, teens, light punchers.

The all-round standard — 65 to 75 kg, bag + mitts + first sparring sessions.

Frequently asked questions

Can one pair of gloves be used for both bag work and sparring?
Yes. In 12 or 14oz (F6 Kara, F7 Ego), you cover bag work, mitts and occasional light sparring. From 2 sparring sessions/week, add a dedicated pair to preserve your gloves and your partner.
How long do RDX training gloves last?
With hand wraps and drying: 18 to 36 months for 3–4 sessions/week. Without wraps or with heavy bag work only: 12–18 months.
Genuine leather or Maya Hide Leather?
Maya Hide Leather covers 95% of needs: durable, sweat-resistant, more affordable. Genuine leather for intensive daily use (clubs, coaches) — see the Mark Pro range.
Do you really need hand wraps underneath?
Yes. Hand wraps stabilise the wrist, protect the knuckles, absorb sweat and double the lifespan of your gloves.
Velcro or laces for training alone?
Velcro, no question. Laces need a second person. All our training models use Velcro.
