The jump rope is every boxer’s warm-up — and one of the best cardio tools there is. Five minutes of rope raises heart rate, activates hand-foot coordination and prepares the shoulders for striking work. The RDX range covers every profile — from the colourful kids’ rope to the digital connected model with counter and app. Shipped across Switzerland via DPD, delivery in 2 to 3 working days.
RDXSports.ch is the official RDX Sports store for Switzerland. Genuine products, Swiss warranty, support in EN/FR/DE.
Simple, light, tangle-free. For daily warm-ups and children. Excellent lifespan, zero maintenance.
Aluminium or wood
Better rotation feel, better balanced. For regular practitioners who want to increase speed or intensity.
Digital / connected
Integrated counter, calories, app. For tracking progress, setting targets and making training more engaging.
How to adjust your rope to the right length?
Stand on the middle of the rope: the handles should reach armpit height. Too long = slow rhythm and rope hitting your feet. Too short = forced rotation and poor posture. All RDX adult models are adjustable. Kids’ models are 10ft (3 m).

How many minutes of rope for an effective warm-up?
5 to 10 minutes is enough before bag work or sparring. For pure cardio, 3 rounds of 3 minutes with 1 minute rest is an effective standard.
Does jumping rope replace running?
For boxing fitness, the rope is often preferred: it develops coordination, rhythm and wrist flexibility in addition to cardio. Also gentler on the knees than running on tarmac.
Which rope specifically for boxing?
Experienced boxers prefer lightweight, fast-rotating ropes (aluminium). For beginners, braided nylon or memory foam are more comfortable to learn with.
Can you use it on any surface?
Prefer a soft surface (wood floor, tatami) to protect the rope and your joints. Avoid bare concrete which wears down the cable quickly.
